Thrivent® Care in Community

Christ The Servant Lutheran Church maintains an active partnership with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans®. 

At the CTS Annual Garage Sale and Youth Group Concession Stand, funds raised for donation to local and global ministries are matched by Thrivent Care in Community. Funds from this endeavor have been used to assist hurricane victims at the Briarwood Retreat Center, to purchase school clothing and supplies for children through the Apple Tree Project of Interfaith Ministries of Denton, and to refurbish and replace equipment used by the CTS Quilters for Lutheran World Relief. Fundraising efforts of the annual Empty Bowl Project Soup Luncheon and Silent Auction are also matched by Thrivent Care in Community. For more information on Thrivent® Care in Community, contact John.
